Summary
Passiflora suberosa, like many climbers, grows on vegetation forming a blanket which cuts out light and smothers the plants (including trees) that give it support. Passiflora suberosa is invasive in many Pacific islands (Hawaii, New Caledonia, Guam, French Polynesia).
