Summary
Ipomoea cairica is a climbing vine that can reach up to 5m long but is rarely rampant. Its stems are smooth and curl around neighbouring support. Ipomoea cairica can smother vegetation, thereby altering ecosystems and reducing biodiversity. It is also a threat to crops.
